The due date is approaching!

It is amazing how when does not pay particular attention to something, the time it flies by at an amazing clip. When one does pay attention and awaits an upcoming event with baited breath, the days they creep by at a snail's pace.

And so it has gone by with Julia's maturation in the womb. The pregnacy has moved slowly but surely and now we are at 33 weeks out of 40 weeks for a full term baby. But with seven weeks until the due date of March 10, 2007, the moment when we will finally meet seems an eternity away. In fact, your father Richard insisted on one last ultasound exam not because it was really necessary but because he could not wait to meet his daughter in the flesh in a few weeks; the results are what you see on this page.

Julia would be fully able to live outside of the womb at this point, and the final countdown has begun as we enter the third trimester. Her parents are on the verge of finishing their childbirth class; they have toured the hospital delivery room at the local hospital; they are ready to meet their daughter, Julia. In fact, they cannot wait!

Now it is just a matter of waiting until Julia wants to make her grand debut - with her loving parents waiting to hold her in their arms.
